Music at Historic Christ Church, 5 Paterson
Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey presents the Practitioners of Musick,
John Burkhalter, recorders, Min-ju Lee, harpsichord, and Donovan
Klotzbeacher, organ in a program of 17th century Dutch music. The 6:30
PM recital is one in a series of ruglar concerts offered by one of New
Jersey’s oldest and most historic churches. The organ to be used in the
concert is of particular note. For further information, contact the

April 26, Sunday
Practitioner of Musick John Burkhalter
participates in the next Musica Alta concert at Princeton University
entitled “Opus 1, a Celebration of Musical Debuts”. Music to be heard
by Handel, Lully, Purcell, and others. The free concert will take place
at 3:00 PM in McAlpin Hall, located in the Woolworth Center for Musical
Studies on the campus. For further information, visit the Music

May 13, Wednesday
Practitioners of Musick John Burkhalter,
recorders, and Gavin Black, harpsichordist, will present a brief
program of Music from the Age of William and Mary.in the Princeton
University Chapel. The lunchtime program begins promptly at 12:30 and
ends at 1:00 PM. Works by the following composers to be heard: Purcell,
John Blow, William Croft, and others. The program is part of an
on-going series of free afternoon concerts sponsored by the
University’s Department of Chapel Music. May 16, Saturday
The Practitioners of Musick, John
Burkhalter, recorders, and Donovan Klotzbeacher, harpsichord
participate in the annual Day in Old New Castle. This event is one of
the oldest house and garden tours in America and benefits the New
Castle, Delaware Historical Society.
