David Black studied cello with Joyce Lawrence in New Haven, and with Jane Cowan at the International Cello Centre (UK). His repertoire includes unaccompanied cello works spanning 300 years, as well as a variety of
chamber music. David is a frequent guest artist with the Practitioners of Musick, Mostly Motets, and other area ensembles.
